Maritime Port Solution
The port of Antwerp - one of the largest ports in Europe - initiated a project to provide a comprehensive wireless access service that would cover the whole port area. About fourteen main Internet leading vendors were participated in the solution evaluation process.

The wireless access deployment provides a triple-play service. Internet access and Data base information access services for the ships in the harbor, VoIP service for the port operation process, video cameras for security purpose and connectivity for dedicated harbor control application, area size covering an area of 64 square kilometers.

Max-Fi has been selected by the customer as the preferred technology partner after demonstrating the most optimized and reliable solution with the highest performance figures and the broadest coverage results. The outstanding performance has been achieved by the unique Max-FI's solution offering.

The Antwerp port is the first port in the world - in this scale - that implemented an outdoor Internet solution for the purpose of the day to day port operation processes.
