Our world is becoming more and more accustomed to having connectivity wherever we are. However, the required wired infrastructure does not always exist. In such areas, wireless infrastructure is often the ideal and very flexible solution for providing broadband Internet access service.
Max-Fi’s solution includes an AirEZ-4000 Internet base station (which is placed in the middle of a neighborhood or village) and self-installed indoor or outdoor CPEs purchased by the customer and placed next to a window at home. The CPE receives the Internet signal from the AirEZ-4000 base station placed outside in top of the high buildings and redistribute it to the residence. An additional key feature, which operators can offer to their customer base, using Max-Fi’s Internet solution is VoIP telephony service bundled with the broadband Internet service. This can be achieved by adding a VoIP gateway alongside the Internet CPE. The AirEZ-4000 Internet base station supports Internet quality of service (QoS), ensuring high priority VoIP traffic.
Key benefits
- Cost-effective solution that utilizes low cost, off-the-shelf Internet CPE’s
- Improved network coverage, which requires significantly fewer base stations and provides effective service to remote locations using Max-Fi’s AirEZ-4000
- AirEZ-4000 indoor penetration, ensures that residences throughout the deployment can be effectively accessed
